Natalya Y. Byzova is currently an associate at the Rudoy Fleck law firm. Ms. Byzova’s practice focuses on civil litigation, business disputes, trademark matters and health law. Ms. Byzova has experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants, in all aspects of civil litigation in state courts and in the United States Patent and Trademarks Office.

Among her most recent successes is getting a favorable result for her client in prosecuting a cancellation proceeding before the United States Patent and Trademarks Office. As a result of the effective representation, the respondent agreed to surrender his trademark registration and entered into a consent agreement in favor of Ms. Byzova’s client.

Ms. Byzova has also worked as a legal fellow with a major health management organization’s legal department where she was exposed to a wide array of legal issues that an organization can face. She drafted contracts, advised on various issues of health law and regulatory compliance and provided recommendations on improving practices and procedures.

Prior to joining the firm and obtaining her J.D., Ms. Byzova worked as a Key Account Manager with a private corporation. She handled major corporate accounts and was successful in business development. She also served as a liaison between a Chinese supplier and American organizations, determined their unique technology needs and provided solutions.

Ms. Byzova obtained her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, she took time off from her full-time job to extern in the chambers of the Honorable Judge Rex Heeseman at the California Superior Court, Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles. In addition, she holds a Russian law degree and is qualified to practice law in Russia.

Ms. Byzova is passionate about practicing law and obtaining results for her clients. In addition to practicing law, however, she devotes herself to community service and currently serves as a Vice-Chair of the Young Professionals of Breath L.A., a non-profit organization fighting for cleaner air in Los Angeles County, and helping adults and children with breathing problems.

Marty has been a lawyer since 1974, handling everything from litigation to drafting motion picture contracts. Marty represents clients in a wide variety of transactional and litigation matters including bankruptcy, business law, real estate, wrongful death and entertainment law. His present and former clients include financial institutions and prominent celebrities. A former stand-up comic, Marty now produces major comedy benefits and sits on the board of philanthropic organizations including the Board of Governors of City of Hope.

David is a former criminal prosecutor from the Major Fraud Division in Los Angeles County. As a deputy district attorney he tried over 50 jury trials. He prosecuted cases involving all manner of fraud and theft as well murder, child molestation, domestic violence, gang violence and driving under the influence of alcohol. Prior to being a prosecutor he worked as an in-house lawyer at the U.S. Customs Service. With a deep understanding of fraud cases, he now represents both plaintiffs and defendants in civil fraud litigation as well as white collar criminal defendants.

David is also an avid teacher. He is certified to provide educational seminars to California law enforcement officers. Several times a year, he presents at major fraud conferences and has provided training, seminars and presentations about fraud to diverse audiences that include the Mortgage Bankers Association, the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators, the American Conference Institute, the Federal Mortgage Fraud Working Group, Fannie Mae, the National Notary Association, and the SEC.

As an undergraduate at UCLA, Mr. Fleck competed as a diver on the swimming team and achieved All-American status twice. He was the 1993 PAC-10 Champion on the 10-meter platform.
